Thailand’s Indorama acquires 51% of UK packaging manufacturer BPL

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand-based Indorama Ventures Ltd (IVL) has acquired a 51% stake in a packaging business in North Ireland,
IVL, through its indirect subsidiary, Beacon Trading Limited has acquired a 51% stake in packaging manufacturer Beverage Plastics (Holdings) Limited (BPL), IVL said in a disclosure to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
“The deal is expected to be completed by the end of this quarter,” a company source said.
