S Korea’s Honam buys 75,000 tonnes naphtha for H1 April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical has bought three naphtha cargoes of around 25,000 tonnes each, traders said on Friday.

The cargoes were sold at premiums of $16-18/tonne (€12-14/tonne) to CFR (cost & freight) Japan quotes on a 45-day price formula for open-spec grade, they said.

The parcels are scheduled for the first half of April, with two of them arriving at Yeosu and the remaining one arriving at Daesan, they added.

Vitol sold the cargoes, according to market sources.
