SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Methanex has nominated its March Asian posted contract price (APCP) for methanol at $440/tonne (€326/tonne), unchanged from its proposed price for February contract, the company said on Wednesday.

Methanex uses the APCP on a cost and freight (CFR) Asia basis as a benchmark for its contracts in South Korea and Japan, with discounts.

The company had earlier posted its independent European methanol contract price for the first quarter of 2012 at €320/tonne FOB (free on board) Rotterdam.
