Japan’s Nippon Shokubai to shut MA plant on 26 March-18 April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Japan’s Nippon Shokubai is planning to shut its 35,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant at Himeji this month from 26 March to 18 April for maintenance, a company source said.
The company will be reducing its MA spot allocations as a result, the source added.
Nippon Shokubai’s MA contract allocations will not be affected as the company has built up its inventory, the source said.By: Quintella Koh+65 6780 4372
