SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Dow Chemical announced on Thursday that it has started commercial operations at its new office at Chengdu in Sichuan, southwestern China.
The move will allow Dow Chemical to achieve its annual sales goal of $7bn-8bn by the year 2015 in greater China, according to a statement from Dow.
Dow Chemical expects to grow its business in the inland regions of China. Its business in China’s coastal regions now accounts for 75% of its total business in the country, it added.
