SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Anti-dumping duties imposed on South Korea’s TK Chemical polyethylene terephthalate (PET) exports to Europe were lifted by the European Commission late last month, a company source said on Friday.

The lifting of restrictions was announced earlier in the week around 28 February, market sources added.

TK Chemical PET exports were subject to €148.30/tonne (€111.23/tonne) of anti-dumping duty.

TK Chemical’s PET plant at Gumi, located near the South Korean port of Busan, has three lines in total with an annual capacity of 280,000 tonnes of PET bottle chips.
