Ukraine's titanium dioxide output falls 1.9% in January

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Ukraine's titanium dioxide (TiO2) production in January fell by 1.9% year on year to 12,600 tonnes, the Ukrainian statistical agency said in a statement on Tuesday.

Ukraine’s main titanium dioxide producers are Crimean Titanium and Sumykhimprom.

In January, Crimean Titanium produced 9,600 tonnes, up 7% compared with the same month last year.

However, Sumykhimprom’s output in January totalled 3,000 tonnes, down 23.2% year on year.
