SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japanese benzene producer, JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp is on track to restart production at its Marifu-based benzene unit on 26 March following a scheduled turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The facility producing about 100,000 tonnes/year of benzene was taken off line on 10 February for the planned shutdown, he added.
JX Nippon Oil is one of the largest benzene producers in this region.
