China’s Shindoo Chemi-Industry 2011 profit up 44% on strong sales

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Shindoo Chemi-Industry has on Monday posted a 44% year-on-year increase in its 2011 net profit to yuan (CNY) 221.0m ($35.0m) because of strong sales of its compound fertilizer, soda ash and other chemical products.
The company’s sales rose to CNY3.24bn last year, up by 58% year on year, it said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Its compound fertilizer sales rose by 46% year on year to CNY1.92bn in 2011, while its soda ash sales rose by 59% year on year to CNY642.3m in the same year, the company said.
Shindoo Chemi-Industry, which is based in Chengdu in Sichuan province, deals mainly with the production and sales of fertilizer and soda ash in central and southern China.By: Rachel Yang
