HOUSTON (ICIS)--Butamax Advanced Biofuels filed another lawsuit against Gevo, accusing it of infringing on a patent to produce biobutanol, the DuPont and BP joint venture said on Monday.

The patent covers recombinant KARI enzymes, which are used to make biobutanol, Butamax said.

Butamax sued Gevo in 2011, alleging infringement regarding bio-isobutanol patents.

Gevo had denied the allegations.
