SK Global Chemical, China partner to build EPDM project in Ningbo

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--SK Global Chemical (SKGC) and a Chinese firm plan to jointly build a 50,000 tonne/year ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) project at Ningbo in Zhejiang province, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The source did not name the Chinese company involved.

The project is expected to start up in 2014, the source said, without disclosing when the construction work on the project will start.

Financial details of the project were not immediately available.
