MEDELLIN, Colombia (ICIS)--Enterprise Products Partners will begin the start-up process of an octane enhancement unit at its Mont Belvieu plant in ?xml:namespace>
The restart was expected to begin at 08:00 hours local time on Tuesday and end on Tuesday, 20 March at 22:00, the company said in a filing with the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
“The restart date is an estimate and may change based on weather and other factors which could affect progress,”
The plant is designed to produce isooctane, a motor gasoline octane enhancement additive used in reformulated motor gasoline blends to increase octane, isobutylene and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE).
