France's Axens sets up subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur

LONDON (ICIS)--Axens has set up a subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the French petrochemicals technology company said on Tuesday.

Axens said the subsidiary would take responsibility for the company’s catalysts and adsorbents businesses in southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, the subsidiary would provide the base for a technical assistance hub for users of Axens technologies and products in Asia, the company said.

Axens was established in 2001 to market the research findings in refining and petrochemicals of France’s Institut Francais du Petrole Energies Nouvelles (IFP).
