HOUSTON (ICIS)--A $50/tonne (€38/tonne) price increase initiative for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for March in Argentina was fully implemented, supported by tight supply and high feedstock costs in Latin America and other regions, sources said on Friday.

Pipe-grade PVC prices in Argentina are assessed at $1,430-1,530/tonne DEL (delivered) after the increase.

PVC prices are expected to roll over in April from March, according to Argentina market participants.

On-spec product is readily available and easily meeting moderate demand, sources said.

Solvay Indupa is the PVC producer in Argentina.
