Poland’s chemical output was up 14.8% in February

LONDON (ICIS)--Poland's production of chemicals and chemical product during February was up 14.8% year on year, the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

Overall, Polish industrial production in February was 4.6% higher year on year, but was only 1% up month on month, it added.

There were year-on-year increases in the output of 26 of the 34 monitored industrial segments, including a 14.8% increase in the manufacture of metal products.

Among the declines was a 1.8% drop in the manufacture of furniture, GUS said.
