SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Shanxi Yangmei Fengxi Fertilizer Industry Group is currently running its 60,000 tonne/year cyclohexanone unit at Yuncheng in Shanxi province at full capacity after it was restarted on 16 March, a company source said on Tuesday.

The producer had shut down the cyclohexanone unit on 12 March for maintenance, the source added.

“The restart has little impact on the market as its output is mainly supplied to DSM Nanjing Chemical Company to produce caprolactam,” the source said.

Cyclohexanone prices were at yuan (CNY) 12,000-12,300/tonne ($1,902-1,949/tonne) EXW (ex-works) north China on 20 March, unchanged from 12 March, according to Chemease, an ICIS service in China..

The key cyclohexanone producers in China include Baling Petrochemical, Shandong Haili Chemical Industry and Fujian Dongxin Petrochemical Co.
