US ethanol inventories and production rebound

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ethanol inventories and production levels rose by 3.2% last week, according to data released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.

Ethanol inventories for the week that ended on 16 March were at 22.7m bbl, up by 700,000 bbl from 22m bbl a week earlier.

Meanwhile, ethanol production was at 893,000 bbl/day, up by 1,000 bbl or 0.1% from 892,000 bbl/day he previous week.
