S Korea’s Honam to restart Yeosu PP, HDPE units on 1 April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical plans to restart its polypropylene (PP) plant and its high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant at Yeosu on 1 April after a month-long turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The shutdown of the 400,000 tonne/year PP plant and the 370,000 tonne/year HDPE unit would be in line with a scheduled maintenance at an upstream 750,000 tonne/year cracker at the site, the source said.By: Chow Bee Lin+65 6780 4359
