China’s NZLC restart its Ningbo PO/SM unit

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Ningbo ZRCC Lyondell Chemical’s (NZLC) has restarted its 285,000tonne/year propylene oxide (PO) unit at Ningbo in Zhejiang province on 25 March, a company source said on Monday.

The company expects to run the PO/SM plant at full throttle on 26 March, the source added.

NZLC had to shut its PO/SM unit on 20 March as a result of some technical problem.

The plant has a nameplate capacity of 285,000tonne/year of PO and 620,000tonne/year of SM.

Meanwhile, Shandong Dongchen shut its 50,000tonne/year unit at Dongying in Shandong province on 24 March for two weeks of maintenance, a company source said.
