SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indian Oil Corp Ltd (IOC) has awarded its 4,000-4,500-tonne base oils tender to a Singaporean trader, market sources said on Monday.

The tender, which comprises 4,000-4,500 tonnes of SN500 for loading from Karachi in end-March, was awarded at around $1,060-1,110/tonne (€795-833/tonne) FOB (free on board) Asia, they said.

The volume of the awarded tender is barely half the original 10,000 tonnes that should have consisted of two cargoes of different base oils grades - SN500, 150N and 500N. The loading dates were also pushed back from the initial scheduled of first half of March.
