PTM Engineering plans Nantong POM turnaround in summer

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PTM Engineering Plastics' 60,000 tonne/year polyacetal (POM) resin facility in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China, will shut for one month in the summer for maintenance, a source from parent company Polyplastics said on Monday.

PTM, an acetal copolymer producer, is a joint venture of Polyplastics Co (70%), Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Korea Engineering Plastics and Ticona.

The exact date of the turnaround is yet to be decided, the source said.
