SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China Aviation Oil (CAO), Asia’s leading jet trader, issued a purchase tender for four 240,000-300,000 barrel cargoes of jet kerosene for end of April and May loading, traders said on Monday.
The CAO tender requested cargoes for loading from northeast or southeast Asia on 21-30 April, 1-10 May, 11-20 May and 21-31 May. The cargoes are for purchase FOB (free on board) Asia, traders said.
CAO also requested one 25,000 tonne jet kerosene cargo for purchase CFR (cost & freight) Huangpu for arrival 25-27 April, via the same tender.
The new CAO purchase tender will close on 28 March and offers will have validity until 29 March.
Previously, the company awarded a purchase tender for four 240,000-300,000 barrel end March and April loading jet kerosene cargoes at a stronger differential of about Singapore market quotes minus 10-20 cents/bbl FOB from Korean refiners, traders said.
CAO is the largest physical jet fuel trader in the Asia-Pacific region and the key supplier of imported jet fuel to the civil aviation industry in China.
The firm’s key businesses include jet fuel supply and trading, trading of other oil products and investments in oil-related assets.
