SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Philippines-based Cocochem has restarted operations at its oleochemicals plant situated in Batangas after a shutdown, a company official said on Thursday.
The official did not specify when the plant was shut, but said the plant has not achieved full production rates because of a shortage in feedstock coconut oil.
The official declined to elaborate further on the feedstock coconut oil shortage affecting production or the current operating rate at the unit.
