JX Nippon Oil, Idemitsu Kosan drop Apr PX ACP nomination by $20

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--JX Nippon Oil & Energy and Idemitsu Kosan dropped their respective April paraxylene (PX) Asian Contract Price (ACP) nominations by $20/tonne (€15/tonne) on Friday, according to customers of the Japanese aromatics makers.

The current nomination stands at $1,630/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Asia, down from an initial nomination of $1,650/tonne CFR Asia.

No new nominations were heard from South Korea’s S-Oil and ExxonMobil till midday.

S-Oil had nominated its April PX ACP at $1,650/tonne CFR Asia while ExxonMobil proposed a contract price for the month at $1,670/tonne CFR Asia.
