S Korea's Hanwha to restart oxo-alcohols unit in April

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Hanwha Chemical is planning to restart its oxo-alcohols facility in Yeosu on 10 April following a scheduled turnaround, a company source said on Friday.

The Yeosu unit, which has a nameplate capacity of 110,000 tonnes/year of 2-ethyl hexanol (2-EH) and 10,000 tonnes/year of n-butanol (NBA), was shut for maintenance on 20 March this year, according to the source.
