HOUSTON (ICIS)--North American acrylonitrile (ACN) spot prices narrowed to $2,200–2,250/tonne (€1650–1,688/tonne), market sources confirmed on Friday.
Sources said the narrowing of the spot price range was due to narrowing global pricing and improving demand.
The spot range had been $2,125–2,280/tonne.
The March contract prices should be determined after the April propylene contract prices are established.
North American ACN producers include Ascend Performance Materials, Cornerstone Chemical, INEOS Nitriles and Unigel.
