SINGAPORE (ICIS)--The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) has retained Mohamed al-Mady as its chairman, the trade group based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said on Sunday.
Al-Mady is also the vice chairman and CEO of Saudi Arabia’s chemicals major SABIC.
The decision to retain Al-Mady was made after the election of the association's new board of directors, which took place at the fifth GPCA's annual general meeting in ?xml:namespace>
Saud Rashed Al Shamsi, the petrochemicals director at UAE’s Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), was elected vice chairman of the GPCA, the trade association said.
