HOUSTON (ICIS)--Braskem has named Fernando Musa as CEO of Braskem ?xml:namespace>
Musa will be based in
Musa most recently served as Braskem’s vice president of planning, information technology and purchasing. Before that, he was responsible for the integration of Quattor, a Brazilian chemical and petrochemical company Braskem acquired in 2010.Musa succeeds Luiz de Mendonca, who was recently appointed CEO of ETH Bioenergia. Before his appointment as CEO of Braskem America in early 2011, Mendonca was CEO of Quattor. Braskem America was created after Braskem acquired Sonoco's polypropylene business in 2010.
