HOUSTON (ICIS)--Air Products has completed its acquisition of DuPont's 50% stake in the companies’ nanomaterials joint venture, the US-based industrial gases firm said on Tuesday.DuPont Air Products Nanomaterials, based in Tempe, Arizona, produces chemical mechanical planarisation (CMP) slurries for the global semiconductor and wafer polishing industries.
The companies announced the deal in early March.
"This acquisition helps broaden our strategy of delivering a portfolio of differentiated offerings to our semiconductor customers," said Wayne Mitchell, vice president and general manager of Air Products' electronics business.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
