China’s Shaanxi Coke Chemical to build ammonia plant in 2012

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shaanxi Coke Chemical plans to build a 70,000 tonne/year ammonia plant in Shaanxi province, a company source said on Thursday.

The company will invest yuan (CNY) 170m ($26.9m) in the project and is expected to conduct a trial run at the plant in late December, according to the source.

A groundbreaking ceremony of the project was held on 31 March, the source said.

Shaanxi Coke Chemical, which is a subsidiary of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group, is in engaged in the manufacture of coke and chemical products.
