HOUSTON (ICIS)--Here is Friday’s midday Americas oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.
AROMATICS: benzene stable at $4.10-4.15/gal
Activity was thin in the US benzene market. Prices were stable with many participants out of the market for the Good Friday holiday.
OLEFINS: ethylene offer flat at 75.125 cents/lb, RGP offer flat at 73.50 cents/lb
April ethylene was last heard offered at 75.125 cents/lb on Wednesday. Refinery-grade propylene (RGP) for April was last heard offered at 73.50 cents/lb. The product traded at 72.50 cents/lb on Tuesday.
