SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Inner Mongolia Boyuan Lianhe Chemical is debugging its 600,000 tonne/year methanol unit at Erdos in Inner Mongolia and expects to increase the plant’s operating rate to “normal” levels this week, a company official said on Monday.
The unit was restarted on 8 April from maintenance, the source added.
“The company is running its No 1 400,000 tonne/year methanol unit at the same site normally,” the source said, without specifying the exact operating rate.
Boyuan Lianhe Chemical is a subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Yuanxing Energy.
