SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jinzhou Petrochemical shut its 4.5m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) at Jinzhou in Liaoning province for maintenance on 6 April, a company source said on Tuesday.
The shutdown will last around 35 days, the source from the Sinopec subsidiary added.
Its 1.2m tonne/year fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) at the same site was shut for a turnaround together with the CDU, according to the source.
Jinzhou Petrochemical has no plans to shut its 3m tonne/year CDU at the same site for maintenance this year, the source said.
