SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Hulunbei‘er Dongneng Chemical Co on 10 April restarted its 100,000 tonne/year dimethyl ethel (DME) unit in Inner Mongolia, northwest China, a company source said on Tuesday.
The DME unit was shut on 1 April for maintenance, the source added.
The company’s 200,000 tonne/year methanol unit at the same site, which was also taken off line on 1 April, is still shut for maintenance, the source said.
The methanol unit is expected to restart on 20 April, according to the source.
