Sinopec’s crude throughput target in April is 17.7m-17.8m tonnes, or 592,000 tonnes/day, up by 1.81% from March, a company source said.
PetroChina plans to process 11.0m-11.1m tonnes of crude in April, or 368,000 tonnes/day, 8.09% less than in March, according to a company source.
Around 27m tonnes/year of PetroChina’s refining capacity will be affected by turnarounds in April, which explains the decrease in its crude throughput, said the source.
