SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has purchased by tender three open-spec naphtha cargoes of 25,000 tonnes each at a $19.00-19.50/tonne (€14.40-14.80/tonne) premium to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), traders said on Wednesday.
One of the cargoes, priced at a $19.00/tonne premium to Japan quotes CFR, will be delivered into Yeosu, said the traders.
The remaining two cargoes, priced at $19.50/tonne to Japan quotes CFR, will be delivered into Daesan, added the traders.
All three cargoes will be delivered in the second half of May.
LG Chem last purchased by tender two open-spec naphtha cargoes, of 25,000 tonnes each, at an $18.75-19.25/tonne premium to Japan quotes CFR for delivery in the first half of May, the traders said.
