SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has purchased 50,000 tonnes of condensate naphtha and 30,000 tonnes of gas-to-liquid (GTL) naphtha from Qatar’s Tasweeq, several traders said on Wednesday.
The cargoes are scheduled to be loaded in the second half of May, the traders said.
The cargoes were bought at an around $37/tonne (€28/tonne) premium to FOB (free on board) Middle East quotes, the traders added.
YNCC last bought 75,000 tonnes of open-spec naphtha at a $19.50-19.75/tonne premium to CFR (cost & freight) Japan quotes.
Condensate and GTL naphtha are light naphtha, which has a high olefins yield.
