LONDON (ICIS)--Chemicals production in the EU fell by 0.2% month on month in February 2012, statistics agency Eurostat said on Thursday.
Across the 17-member eurozone, chemicals production in February also dropped by 0.2% month on month.
Year on year, chemicals production in February fell by 2.4% in the EU and by 2.5% in the eurozone.
Total industrial production in February was up by 0.2% month on month in the EU and by 0.5% in the eurozone.
Year on year, total industrial production in February dropped by 1.8% in both the EU and the eurozone, Eurostat said.
