China’s September LLDPE futures rise by 0.91%

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s September linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) futures have risen by 0.91% on a technical rebound, industry sources said on Thursday.

LLDPE futures have been falling since 9 April.

September’s LLDPE futures, the most actively traded contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE), closed at yuan (CNY) 10,555/tonne ($1,673/tonne) on 12 April, up by CNY95/tonne from the settlement price of CNY10,460/tonne on 11 April.

Around 1.12m tonnes of LLDPE, or 449,092 contracts, for delivery in September were traded on Thursday, according to the DCE.
