SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Zhejiang Guxiandao Industrial Fiber on 11 April shut its 200,000 tonne/year polyester line at Shaoxing in Zhejiang because of technical issues, a company source said on Friday.

The company plans to shut the line for about seven to ten days for maintenance, according to the source.

The line mainly produces industrial polyester filament yarn, the source added.

Other major polyester makers in China include Huahong and Zhejiang Hengyi.
