SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Dalian Petrochemical will shut its 70,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Dalian in Shandong province on 19 April this year for maintenance, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The scheduled turnaround will last 20 days, the source added.

The shutdown at the unit will not have a significant impact on the domestic general PP market because of its small capacity, according to local distributors
