LONDON (ICIS)--An initial April European orthoxylene (OX) contract has been agreed at €1,180/tonne ($1,553/tonne), an increase of €50/tonne from the previous month, a producer and consumer said on Friday.

The settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.

Further confirmation from other market players is pending.
