HOUSTON (ICIS)--US ConocoPhillips has named seven people to the board of directors for its independent downstream spinoff company, Phillips 66, the company said on Monday.
Phillips 66 CEO Greg Garland will serve as the chairman.
Other members include J Brian Ferguson, the former chief executive of Eastman Chemical; William Loomis, an independent financial advisor; John Lowe, the assistant to the CEO of ConocoPhillips; Harold McGraw, the chief executive of McGraw-Hill; Glenn Tilton, the former chief executive of United Airlines; and Victoria Tschinkel, who currently serves as chairwoman of the conservation group, 1000 Friends of Florida.
Phillips 66 will become an independent company after shares of its common stock are distributed to ConocoPhillips’ shareholders after the market closes on 30 April.
Phillips 66 will include refining, marketing, midstream and chemicals businesses, as well as 50% stake in Chevron Phillips Chemical (CP Chem).
