Taiwan’s Ming Dih Group shuts Bangkok EPS unit amid holidays

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>Taiwan’s Ming Dih Group has shut its 30,000 tonne/year expandable polystyrene (EPS) plant in Bangkok, Thailand, this week for the Songkran Water Festival from14-23 April, a company source said on Tuesday.
“The shutdown will last one week and the plant will be restarted by next week”, the source added, without providing specific dates.
The company operates another 180,000 tonne/year EPS plant in Taiwan and a 100,000 tonne/year EPS unit in south China.By: Clive Ong+65 6780 4359
