China’s Shenghong Group shuts Jiangsu polyester line from 20 Apr

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Shenghong Group is planning to shut its 200,000 tonne/year polyester filament yarn (PFY) line at Shengze in Jiangsu province on 20 April for maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
The line, which mainly produces partially oriented yarn (POY) and fully drawn yarn (FDY), will be down for 20 days, the source said.
Shenghong Group, which is a polyester giant in China, has five production lines with a total yarn capacity of 950,000 tonnes/year, the source said.By: Sunny Chen
