LONDON (ICIS)--South Korea-based Songwon Industrial will double the production of its dust-free packages of polymer additives, known as one-pack systems (OPS), in Greiz, Germany, the producer said on Wednesday.

The expansion of its capacity by 7,000 tonnes/year, to 14,000 tonnes/year, will be up and running by the middle of this year, Songwon said.

Financial details and the start-up date of the expansion were not disclosed.

Jongho Park, chairman and CEO of Songwon Industrial said: “The reaction we have had from our customers has led us to commit additional investment such that we can now deliver an additional 7,000 tonnes[/year] of product to meet their demands.”
