HOUSTON (ICIS)--Eastman Chemical has completed an expansion of its 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) plant at ?xml:namespace>
Eastman said that with the expansion and recently completed debottlenecks, the plant’s 2-EH capacity had been increased by about 37,000 tonnes/year.
A spokeswoman told ICIS that the company would not disclose the plant’s 2-EH capacity following the expansion, or the cost of the expansion.

Eastman first announced the expansion in September 2010.
