MAASTRICHT, the Netherlands (ICIS)--PCC Rokita’s fourth polyols production line at Brzeg Dolny in Poland is running and on-spec material is being produced, said a company source on Wednesday.
Full capacity is expected to be reached by May, the source said on the sidelines of the UTECH Europe polyurethanes (PU) conference in Maastricht, the Netherlands, which runs from 17-19 April.
The new production line raises the nameplate polylols capacity at the Polish site from 70,000 tonnes/year to 100,000 tonnes/year.
The Polish company plans to manufacture its existing product mix on this new line and has made progress towards this.
The fourth production line had been expected to be operational in 2011, but was postponed until this year because of economic uncertainty.
