SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese producer Yunnan Three Circles-Sinochem-Cargill Fertilizers’ 600,000 tonne/year diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant in Yunnan province, southwest China is shut because of weak domestic demand, a company source said on Thursday.

The restart date for the plant, which was shut on 12 April, will depend on sales conditions, according to the source who added that DAP demand typically weakened from late April to June.

The producer sells most of its DAP production to the domestic market, said the source.
