SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co (ZRCC) is eyeing a 19 May restart for both its paraxylene (PX) and orthoxylene (OX) units after a three-month turnaround, a company source said on Thursday.
The plants were shut in the middle of February.
“We may bring the restart forward by three to five days, but this is not confirmed yet,” the source added.
The Zhenhai-based facilities can produce 530,000 tonnes of PX and 160,000 tonnes of OX per annum, the source said.
